Old Violin Shop Remodel

A full remodel of the former violin shop premises on Bucklersbury in Hitchin town centre. Curved reeded-oak panelling wraps a built-in library wall, with glazed corner doors opening onto a small terracotta-tiled courtyard. Two rooflights, including a circular feature light, bring natural light deep into the plan, while an original ceiling beam was retained and exposed in the reworked WC. Terracotta floor tiles run throughout, tying the new space back to the building's history.
